Corporate Insurance

Protect Your People and Your Business

From group health cover for your team to property and liability protection for your operations, we help businesses compare options from multiple insurers and put together a programme that fits their size, sector and budget.

Overview

What Is Corporate Insurance?

Corporate insurance covers two things: the people who work for your business and the business itself. Employee benefit covers such as group health and group term life look after your team and their families. Business covers such as fire, marine and liability insurance protect your premises, stock and balance sheet when something goes wrong.

A well-designed programme helps you attract and retain talent, meet contractual and statutory requirements, and avoid a single incident turning into a financial crisis. We help you understand the options, compare quotes from insurers, and manage renewals and endorsements as your business grows.

Employee Benefits

Covers for Your Team

Group policies cover all eligible employees under one master policy. Premiums per person are often lower than individual policies, and cover usually starts from the date of joining.

Group Health Insurance

Covers hospitalisation expenses for employees and, if you choose, their spouses, children and parents. Terms such as pre-existing disease waiting periods are often more relaxed than in individual policies, subject to the insurer's terms.

  • Cashless treatment at network hospitals
  • Optional family and parental cover
  • Maternity and day-care options
  • Top-up and voluntary add-ons

Group Term Life Insurance

Pays a lump sum to the nominee of an employee who passes away during the policy period. Cover can be a flat amount or a multiple of salary, set by your benefits policy.

  • Flat or salary-linked cover
  • Covers all eligible employees
  • Simple enrolment process
  • Can support statutory or loan-linked needs

Group Personal Accident

Pays a benefit for accidental death, permanent disability or temporary disability. This is especially relevant for teams that travel, work on field duties or operate machinery.

  • Accidental death benefit
  • Permanent total and partial disability
  • Weekly benefit for temporary disability
  • 24x7 worldwide cover options
Business Protection

Covers for Your Business

Every business carries different risks. These are the covers companies most often consider. Final terms, exclusions and premiums are set by the insurer after underwriting.

Fire & Property

Protects buildings, plant, machinery and stock against fire, natural calamities and allied perils. Business interruption add-ons can cover lost profits during the repair period.

Marine Cargo

Covers goods in transit by sea, air, rail or road, both domestic and international. You can choose single-transit or annual open policies, depending on your shipping volumes.

Workmen's Compensation

Covers the employer's legal liability to compensate employees for injury or death arising out of and in the course of employment, as required by the Employees' Compensation Act.

Liability Covers

Commercial general liability (CGL), product liability, professional indemnity and Directors & Officers (D&O) cover protect against third-party claims and legal costs.

Key-Person Insurance

A life cover taken by the business on a founder or critical employee. The payout helps the business manage disruption, repay loans or find a replacement.

Specialty Covers

Cyber, fidelity guarantee, money insurance and engineering covers address specific exposures. We help you work out whether any of these are relevant to your operations.

Who It Suits

Is Corporate Insurance Right for Your Business?

Startups, SMEs, professional firms and larger corporates all benefit from a structured insurance programme. The right mix depends on your headcount, assets, contracts and the risks your industry faces.

The main risk is being underinsured. Covers bought on price alone, with low sums insured or narrow terms, can leave large gaps exactly when you need protection. We help you read the fine print before you sign.

FAQs

Common Questions About Corporate Insurance

What is the minimum team size for group health insurance?
It varies by insurer. Many insurers offer group health policies for small teams, sometimes starting from a handful of employees, while others set higher minimums. We check current eligibility with insurers for your headcount.
Can employees continue group health cover after leaving the company?
Group cover usually ends when an employee leaves. Some insurers allow the employee to move to an individual policy on continuity terms, subject to their rules. We can explain the options available under your policy.
Is group term life a substitute for an individual term plan?
Not usually. Group cover is tied to employment and the amount is set by the employer. Most people still need their own term plan, sized to their family's needs, that stays with them when they change jobs.
Do we have to buy every cover listed here?
No. Some covers, such as workmen's compensation, may be legally required in certain situations, and others may be required by your contracts or lenders. Beyond that, it depends on your risks and budget. We help you prioritise.
Who decides whether a claim is paid?
The insurer decides claims as per the policy terms. We help your team file the claim correctly, provide the right documents and follow up with the insurer or TPA.
