SWP Calculator
Estimate how long a corpus could last with regular monthly withdrawals.
₹50 L
The withdrawal is taken at the start of each month and the remaining balance grows monthly at a constant rate. Taxes and exit loads are not considered.
Total withdrawn
₹72,00,000
Estimated growth earned
₹90,45,597
Estimated final balance
₹68,45,597
At these assumptions the corpus would last the full period of 20 years with a balance remaining.

How this works
A Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) lets you withdraw a fixed amount at regular intervals from an investment. This calculator deducts the withdrawal at the start of each month and grows the remaining balance monthly at the expected rate.
If withdrawals exceed what the corpus can sustain, the balance runs out before the end of the period — the calculator shows the month in which that would happen.
Taxation, exit loads and changing returns are not considered. Withdrawals from mutual funds are redemptions and may have tax implications.
Results ignore taxes and exit loads. Withdrawals are not guaranteed to be sustainable as actual returns may differ from the rate assumed.
The results shown are illustrative estimates based on the assumptions you enter and are not a guarantee of future returns. Actual returns may be higher or lower. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks; read all scheme related documents carefully. Past performance does not guarantee future returns.
